Summary

The Department of Transportation’s 21-acre parcel at the corner of University and Segoe Road is slated for redevelopment.  Further information is available below and at the official Hill Farms website.

  • Six high-rise office and residential buildings are planned for the area now occupied by the single DOT building and surrounding parking lot.
  • Planning scenarios suggest the buildings may rise as tall as 20 stories, in comparison with the adjacent Weston Place condo building that stands at 12 stories.
  • The development is planned to cause a +10% increase in stormwater runoff to Spring Harbor
  • A s ignificant increase in traffic along University and surrounding streets is also expected
  • The accelerated entitlement timeline calls for common council approval in September 2007
